“Wherever you go becomes a part of you somehow.”
What inspired your passion for travel and led you to become a travel advisor?
Travel has always been part of my life. I grew up exploring the world, gaining a deep appreciation for exceptional hotels, incredible food, and the people and stories that make each destination unique. Along the way, I became the go-to person among friends and family for hotel recommendations, restaurant picks, and travel advice, and I realized I loved the planning almost as much as the travel itself. I took the leap, followed my passion, and turned travel into a career, using my experience in marketing and travel tech in a completely different way. Today I channel it all into curating trips for clients that feel personal and unforgettable. It's genuinely my dream job.
What is your favorite travel destination and why?
Paris, hands down. I've been more times than I can count and it's never gotten old, there's always a new corner, a new restaurant, or a street I haven't wandered down yet. Every neighborhood has its own personality, and between the architecture, the food, and the energy of the place itself, there's nowhere else like it. I could spend a lifetime there and still not be done. There's really nothing like getting a little lost in Paris.
What is the most unusual or unexpected item you always pack in your suitcase?
Blister Band-Aids. With all the walking and wandering, it's good to be prepared.
If you could have dinner with any famous person while traveling, who would it be and why?
Audrey Hepburn, in Rome, where Roman Holiday was filmed. She's one of the original travel icons, always effortless, glamorous, and chic. I’d love to hear the real stories behind her adventures.
What’s your go-to travel snack?
Whatever the specialty or dessert is wherever I'm traveling (I'm a sucker for a sweet treat).
Do you have a travel playlist or a favorite song that you listen to while exploring new places?
I like listening to music that sets the tone or amplifies where I am: Sylvie Vartan’s "Baby c’est vous" in Paris, or Domenico Modugno's "Volare" in Italy.
What type of travel do you specialize in or feel most passionate about planning?
Luxury and boutique travel, with a serious food-and-wine focus, I'm a big foodie. But what I love most is curating a trip around the person taking it: their pace, their taste, what they actually want out of it, not a one-size version of "luxury." I'm a Paris specialist, but across the board I lean toward authentic, local experiences, the hidden gem over the obvious stop, every time.
What’s one travel tip you swear by that most people don’t know?
Take some time to understand and appreciate the culture at your destination before you arrive. A novel, a film, or just learning a bit of local etiquette can go a long way. It can transform how much you get out of the experience, and how the locals respond to you. It will make your travel more seamless, richer, and more rewarding.
